Day One
Nairobi to Samburu Morning departure from Nairobi, driving north past Mount Kenya into the northern frontier, arriving in Samburu in time for lunch at your lodge. Settle in, then head out on an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Ng’iro River as the heat softens.
Day Two
The full reserve A full day in Samburu. Morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Special Five — Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich — alongside elephant, lion, and leopard, with time to rest at the lodge through the midday heat.
Day Three
One last drive home A final morning game drive and breakfast, then the return journey south to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
